Very worth your $5! It was interesting to learn about the families who lived there through the self guided tour book. The house is really lovely, however, it is a little tacked up with posters on the walls in some rooms advertising current …
Very knowledgeable tour guide, but you have the option of self guided experience. Make sure to check out the attic!
Frankly, I didn't feel that the interior was as well managed as the exterior of the building. Of course, the items I used in the past were interesting, and the explanation of the story was good, but it smelled a little uncomfortable, and there were unorganized fixtures piled up everywhere, so it was a cluttered atmosphere. But I think it's an educationally beneficial place. I think it's worth visiting with your children at least once.
My husband and I visited the house which is under construction. The website posted their hours. I am handicapped and being unfamiliar with the area, we parked at the bottom of the hill and climbed several sets of stairs to the top. Upon …
Gorgeous Historic Property in a Lovely Park. Call in advance, we drove quite the distance to see this place and it was closed at 2PM on a Saturday for a private party. Very disappointed but the house itself and grounds are beautiful.
Best part of the tour was Chloe, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, Friendly and happy. Very nice history of the SMH . Lived here since 96 and finally made it to it now that it is open. 5Star x 100.
Just a beautiful house in a style from the 1800's. The site over looks part of downtown Eugene. Interior is furnished with a large selection of period pieces. We'll worth a visit.
I did not get a chance to go in when I came and visited. I did get to look around outside of the house it looks so beautiful and wish that I could have seen the beautiful home what it would look like back then. This was when Covid was going on as well.
I love the historical features preserved for the 20th century and coming generations
Good price for a 15 minute tour. The lady at the desk was nice and took us on a tour. The history is nice and on a sunny day it's a great place to go.
